WFA Grand Slam Season 2024: A Year to Remember!
What a ride it’s been!
The 2024 WFA Grand Slam season is officially in the books, and we’re thrilled to crown a brand-new Grand Slam World Champion.
This year’s journey took us across the globe—from Rome to Zante, Kalajoki to Las Vegas, London to Warsaw—where we witnessed 103 incredible bartenders from 31 countries battle it out. The energy, the passion, and the level of talent on display were simply unmatched.
With fresh faces entering the scene alongside seasoned veterans, every competition brought its own moments to remember (see our Instagram and Youtube channel). The bar was set so high that no one could predict the winners until the final moments. This year truly kept us on the edge of our seats!
The Grand Slam leaderboard was a nail-biter until the very end, with powerhouse names like Deniss Trifanovs (3-time Grand Slam Champion), Roman Zapata (2022 Champion), Michael Moreni, and Enrico Meloni battling it out. It all came down to the final showdown at the Food Town Flair Challenge II in Warsaw to decide who would take home the ultimate prize: the WFA Gold Level.
Throughout the season, we’ve watched bartenders step up their game with jaw-dropping performances. Shoutout to Kirill Rudak for his next-level creativity, Enrico Meloni for his flawless routines and musicality, and Eric Yu, who left everyone speechless with his mind-blowing moves. The progress we’ve seen from every competitor has been truly inspiring!
And now, the moment we’ve all been waiting for… Congratulations to our new WFA Grand Slam World Champion: Michael Moreni!
Michael’s all-around incredible performances lit up every stage he stepped on, earning him well-deserved cheers from the crowd and, ultimately, the WFA Gold Level for 2024. His hard work and talent have made this his year to shine!
